Terms of use

Draft of 4 November 2026, awaiting review by a lawyer. It is not yet a final text. Items in [square brackets] are still to be filled in.

The product

YaMAR is a desktop app that runs coding agents on your own machines, through the model provider you choose. It is provided by [legal name and address of the operator]. It is in development, and may change or stop.

Your account

You sign in with GitHub, Google or a code sent by email. Keep access to that address safe, because it is what proves the account is yours. The account is yours to close at any time. See the privacy policy for what it holds.

Your provider and your costs

You connect your own model provider with your own key, and you pay that provider directly under its terms. YaMAR receives none of that money. Spending limits in the app are a help, and a limit can be passed by what a provider has already charged.

Agents act on your behalf

Agents run commands and change files on the machines you point them at. You decide what they may reach, and you are responsible for what you ask them to do and for checking the result. Do not use YaMAR to break the law or the rights of others.

No warranty

[Warranty, limit of liability, governing law and how disputes are settled: to be set by the lawyer.] The app is offered as it is. A failure of the account service does not stop your agents, and you are advised to keep your own copies of your work.

Changes

We may change these terms and will say so in the app or by email before they apply to you. Questions: support@yamar.app.
